This was done as an exercise in portrait sculpting. it's 1/6 scale, which makes the head about 1 3/4" (from the top of the head to the chin). It is sculpted in wax.

Your work is an inspiration
(and a bit intimidating). Thanks for sharing.

Are you gonna leave it in wax or cast it in bronze?

Thanks for the kind words. I'll be casting these in resin. Maybe sometime down the road I'll cast them in bronze. If I can do the castings myself.

Cheers!!

Thanks man, I dig it too. It is too bad I had to loose my lower lip and part of my right ear, but I think it works for me ;)

Cheers!!

That's the point my friend... I'm a zombie.

How was kayaking?

lol! I know :)

Kayaking was awesome. We went out to the ocean again, but this time stopped at the beach to hang out for a while.

Cool, I've always been afraid to kayak, cuz I think I'm not going to be able to right myself if I flip.

Cheers!!

Oh, it's not that kind of kayaking. It's the recreational kind where you sit on top of it and not inside of it. It's pretty damn hard to flip those. You're more likely just to tip and fall off of it.
